CLUB DIRECTOR
From Butte, grew up coaching with my dad, a true gym rat. Current hall of famer and member of the only conference championship team at Western in the early 2000's. Played for the goat Jenny Peterson & amazing Cindy Bennett. Coached in WA and then in Texas at 5A powerhouse Smithson Valley HS. I was influenced an mentored by the incomparable legend Liana Tyler, Lisa Daigle and worked with the amazing Mike Carter in TX. Head coach for Butte High in 2019-2020 took team to state for the first time in over a decade. Teacher at BHS and mom to beautiful dancer and future volleyball player 9 year old Lyvia.

KARINA MICKELSON
Three-year starter and two-year captain at Trabuco Hills High School. Led her team to a second-place finish in the conference and advanced to the second round of the state tournament. Also played for the Saddleback Valley Volleyball Club and has qualified for the Junior Olympics twice. Started all 32 matches for Tech. Tallied 384 kills averaging 3.2 per set and a 0.244 hitting percentage. Ranked fourth in the conference in total kills and kills per set. Had double-digit kills in 21 matches. Career high 21 kills vs. College of Idaho (8/24/18). Had 79 total blocks. Recorded 38 services aces. Totaled 352 digs. Selected first team all-conference.

ALICIA NORLING
Earned three letters in volleyball, two each in tennis and choir, and one in basketball while competing for the Helena (Mont.) High Bengals. Was an All-Conference pick in volleyball. Team won 2011 and 2012 Class AA state titles and finished third in 2013... Club team was Helena Volleyball Club. Went o UGF to play college volleyball.

EMMA HANSON
5-foot-9 defensive specialist/setter from Billings, Montana, was second team all-state and first team all-conference for Billings Senior HS as a senior. Hanson led her team as a setter to AA State twice in her high school career. While dominating athletics, Hanson also excelled in her academics when she qualified as academic all-state for 2 years in a row. Played for Northwest College down in Powell, Wyoming. She played in over 42 matches, starting in 25. Hanson aided her team with 775 assists, 40 service aces, 187 digs, and 28 blocks. During her time at Northwest, she also quickly became the program record holder for most assists in a match with 61 assists against Otero College of Colorado.
